L'INTREPIDE GUERRIER

 

Le sentier du guerrier vers Dieu

Doit être foulé

Avec un coeur rempli de compassion.

 

Celui qui suivrait ce chemin

Doit être armé d'une épée

Dépourvue de colère et de luxure,

D'un arc, d'une flèche et d'un carquois

Dépourvus de rapacité.

 

Il doit suivre le sentier

Tête baissée

Avec un seul but en pensée.

 

Ses yeux doivent être baignés de larmes

Qui s'écoulent d'un âme inondée

D'un amour inconditionnel.

 

Pour un tel guerrier, diligent et vrai,

La destination sera atteinte au prochain pas.

THE INTREPID WARRIOR

 

The warrior path to God

must be trod

with a heart of compassion.

 

The one who would follow this path,

must be armed with

a sword free from anger,

a shield devoid of lust, and

a bow, arrow and quiver, free from

greed.

 

He must trod the path

with a bowed head,

and a one-pointed mind.

 

His eyes must be bathed with

tears,

from a soul that is

 overflowing

with its own unconditional 

Love.

 

For such a warrior, diligent

and true,

the destination will be reached

with the next step.
