NOOR - PROGRAMME D'EDUCATION EN AFGHANISTAN

Noor a été créé en juillet 2001, à l'instigation de cinq jeunes personnes, passionnées par l'Afghanistan et donc concernées par la situation grave que traversait le pays. Dans ce contexte, il est très vite apparu que l'un des domaines qui réclamait le plus d'aide était l'éducation pour filles et garçons.

C'est  pourquoi le but de l'Association est de créer plusieurs écoles mixtes dans la vallée du Panjshir mais aussi à travers tout l'Afghanistan.

Bilan de l'Association Noor au 15 juin 2004 :

 - L'école de Mazina devenue gouvernementale (400 élèves)

- Une seconde école dans la province du Nagahar (Ecole de Bar-Coat, 150 petites filles)

- La prise en charge financière d'une troisième école dans la province du Nangahar : Ecole de Su-Tan (également 150 petites filles)

- Le bus de ramassage scolaire entre les villages de Dashtak et de Rokna dans la vallée du Panjshir (100 petits garçons).

NOOR - EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME IN AFGHANISTAN

Noor was founded in July 2001 by five young people, lovers of Afghanistan and much concerned by the tragic times this country had to endure.  In this context, it quickly appeared that one of the concerns that most needed to be considered was the education of little girls and boys.

That is why the aim of the association is to build several schools where boys and girls would be brought up together.  The schools would first be built in the Panjshir Valley but, later, in the whole of Afghanistan.

Noor's results dated June, 15th, 2004:

 - The school of Mazina is now under the protection of the government (400 pupils)

- A second school in the region of Nagahar (Schoolm of Bar-Coat, 150 girls)

- Financing of a third school in the region of Nangahar:  School of Su-Tan (150 girls)

- The bus bringing the pupils between the villages of Dashtak and Rokna in the Panjshir Valley is always in service (100 boys).
